What is Entreprenuership.

In this post I want to talk about what entreprenuership is and the differnt types of entrprenuers. So without further adue let's get started

So what is Entrprenuership?

There are a lot of differentiating views when it comes to this. There are some who think that just owning a small business makes them an entreprenuer, and depending on the type of entreprenuer you are striving to be then yes you would more than likely qualify as one, but I don't think it's just that simple. I think there is more to it than just owning a business. There will be an element of innovation that will play a role in it as well. Before we go any further I think it's important to know that regardless of what you do innotvation will play a role sooner or later just because of the way the market works, your customers are going to want what you provide them faster and more affordable. Here's a video from Secret Entourage that help to explain more about what entreprenuership is. To watch the video click here.

The different types of entrpreneurs.

In an article for Entrepreneur Magazine, author Kimanzi Constable writes about the five types of entrepreneurs. Here's a link to the article if you would like to read it.  In it he states that there are five types of entrepreneurs; skeptical, copycat, research, determined, and accomplished. Within these there are different traits. Such as with the skeptical entrepreneur, he says, "they see everyone elses success and immediately starts to question it.", or with the determined entrepreneurs how they never give up depsite failures and setbacks. Overall I think the message is that there isn't one type of entrepreneur. It's definately worth a few minutes to read the article.

Just as there different types of entrepreneurs there are different ways to do entrepreneurship. Whether it's innovating an industry or process within an industry to inventing a completely new product. The decision is yours all you have to do is put in the work and make it count.

A Little About Me.

Ok, so after posting a few things about business, I figure you have an idea about what this is going to be about. What I haven't done is give you some insight into me as a person and my life.       So to get started, my name is Kevin. I am the husband to a wonderful wife, Andrea, and father to two wonderful kids, Caleb and Shelby. I am also a veteran of the U.S. Navy where I spent seven years of my life to my country. You can see my wife and son in the picture that is attached.        So what got me into business is I think my dad. He's in his fifties actually almost sixty now, and has wanted to start his own company, but unfortunately never got the chance to. He is a hard worker and takes pride in what he does.                My first foray into the world of business was right after the birth of my son. I started in the world of affiliate ...

Investing

So a friend of mine asked me about investing, and so this post is in response to that. Any of us that have been in the workforce for any length of time know about investing from the lens of a retirement account, but did you know there are more way to invest your money than just a retirement account. In all honesty investing is the only way that you can make money and not do anything to earn it, but you can also loose a fortune as well. With that being said let's get to it. Ok so there are several options that you have when it comes to investing and investment accounts. I won't get into them but I will tell you what they are. We hear a lot about retirement accounts a lot of times those are tax deferred which is good until you withdraw the money, and then obviously you pay the tax on it. Within this group there are IRA's, Roth IRA's, 401k's, and 403b's. Roth IRA'S and IRA's are purchased through places like Edward Jones. Most employers offer a 401k plan ...

A Comment I Made.

Ok so I made a comment on a post on instgram, and I really hope it helped at least one person. In that comment I talked about how to get to where you are financially free. It's a simple concept, but the hard part is execution. In this, the one thing I forget to say is that make sure that most of your income streams are passive, and what that means is that you don't have to actively work at it. Those could be anything from investments to dropshipping or affiliate marketing, but the main thing is that you don't have to actively manage it. Personally I would make my highest netting endeavor my main focus. Until it reaches a point that you can sell it for a profit, and then start something new. What you'll need to is figure out the  execution, and that is what a lot of people, including myself have a hard time with. Once you get the execution, everything else will fall into place.
